Ducks, Ducks and more Ducks

Another beautiful morning for a walk along the Red River with Chester.  We saw lots of ducks and Chester was just so excited and wanted to chase them.  Of course that’s not going to happen since he is connected to me with his leash.  🙂  It is currently 8C with a predicted high of 18C.

I found the Bufflehead and Common Goldeneye ducks again, some Mallards and some different ducks.  I can’t find the new ducks in the Ducks Unlimited site, so will have to look further.  Until I find out, these will be the current mystery ducks.

I think the Mallards are getting used to seeing Chester and I and its easier to get pictures of them now.

Edited to add:  these mystery ducks have been identified as Eared Grebes.  Thanks Barry  🙂
