This is a perfect day to be off work and do some stuff around the yard. It is currently 20C and that is about the high for the day. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain again so its too bad I didn’t do a bit more around the yard. 🙂
We didn’t walk along the Red River today. Instead, Chester had an appointment at the vet for his annual checkup, shots and heart worm test and pills. So – we walked to the vet after taking the long way through a park and around and then we took a little bit longer way back home again. It isn’t a long walk to the vet – only about 10-15 minutes so we made it into a 1/2 hour walk there and about 45 minutes back home again. We saw squirrels and bunnies on our walk, but Chester saw them before I had a chance to take out the camera – so there wasn’t any hope of getting pictures of those guys. We did see a duck, in the park – a long way from water. Since she wasn’t moving, I did get a chance to get her picture – even a couple of pictures before Chester noticed her.
She was watching us and turned to keep watching us as we went around to her side.
Chester is now officially a senior citizen in the dog world at 8 years of age. He is getting white on his face – but certainly not slowing down. The vet recommended that I start moving towards a senior food for him and maybe get him on glucosamine – more as a preventative move than to help correct a current problem.
I had to take a couple of pictures of Chester today.
