Craven is the next cat on the list of 2 here. He is probably about 8 – 9 years old. As I mentioned in the post about Cyrus, I have enough trouble keeping track of my own pets’ ages. He is younger than Cyrus though, but I can’t remember if he was here before Chester or not.
I don’t know Craven well. He doesn’t like Chester, so he seldom comes upstairs. If I go downstairs, especially if I have food to offer, he does come to say hi and rub against me – but otherwise I don’t know much about him.
I have some news on my never ending doctor saga and with luck it will actually end soon. I had put my name on a waiting list for a woman doctor at a walk in clinic that I sometimes use. They called me yesterday and said that although they did not have a woman doctor – they do have a male, who will refer his female patients to his wife for the internal stuff. I have made an appointment for a meet-and-greet with him for Monday morning before work.
He does not take appointments on Fridays, but he takes appointments early enough in the morning that I have time to go there and have plenty of time to get to work and even go back home again before work. The office is not downtown and there is plenty of parking. I am hoping that this will work out.
So far on Africam today, we have seen Elephant, Impala, Terrapin, Warthog, Egyptian Goose, Wildebeest, Blacksmith Lapwing, Sandpiper, Tortoise, Cape Turtle Dove, Waterbuck, Kudu, Nyala, Zebra, Giraffe and Hadeda Ibis. Click here to see all of today’s pictures.
The weather today sounds better than yesterday’s nasty cold stuff. The temperature wasn’t bad – but that wind chill was very cold. Today, the temperature is -9C with a windchill that feels like -15C.
