I took these picture of the youngest bunny a few days ago and keep forgetting to find out what his name is.
He is supposed to be a lion lop bunny – the same as Pookie, but so far his ears aren’t lopping. His ears are not as long as Pookie’s ears are and I’ve never seen a lop bunny with short ears though. They do look spread out a bit and may be starting to show signs of going down, and he is still young – so we’ll see.
Sorry – the first 2 pictures are a little out of focus, but they show that he has 2 black eyes.
I just received word that his name is Skittle – thanks Brian! 🙂
Chester had a good day and night and we’re still going one day at a time with him for now. After today I will be off work for 4 days so will be home to keep an eye on him.
Before long it will be 2012 – the year of my trip to Africa!
So far on Africam today, we have seen Elephant, Waterbuck, Impala, Nyala, Wildebeest, Helmeted Guinea Fowl, Vervet Monkey and Hadeda Ibis. Click here to see all of today’s pictures.
It may be a bit cooler when Chester and I head out on our walk along the Red River this morning. Right now it is -9C with a wind chill of -14C, but the temperature is supposed to drop when the sun comes up to -12C and that will mean more of a wind chill. We don’t walk until at least an hour after he has eaten so going early before the morning temperature chill down will not happen. Maybe we will be lucky and the wind will drop by then.
