As predicted, now that it is January it is BUSY at work.  Yesterday was a combination of things – lots of people just dropping in (since relatives from out of town are still visiting and people were just off work because school is out) and also lots of new membership (new year resolutions).

The out of town people will be leaving to get back home soon, school will be back in session next week and time will tell what will happen with the new year resolution people.

So far on Africam today, we have seen Lions, Giraffe, Elephant, Nyala, Kudu, Egyptian Geese, Woolly-necked Stork, Hadeda Ibis, African Fish Eagle Wahlbergs Eagle, Waterbuck, Warthog, Cape Turtle Dove and Impala.  Click here to see all of today’s pictures.

It is going to be a chilly walk with Chester this morning.  The temperature isn’t bad at -10C, but the wind is nasty bringing the wind chill down to -21C.  It is supposed to get up to -4C by this afternoon and I hope the wind dies down.
