After the cool day with a nasty wind that made things very uncomfortable on yesterday’s walk, today is a pleasant -4C with no wind. The walk along the Red River with Chester was very nice – but still no critters to be seen.
Now, I look at the forecast for tomorrow and the temperature will be rising overnight to +4C by morning and then +7C by afternoon. This is unheard of in January around here – although I actually have no idea what the record high is for this time of year.
For those of you who just know the fahrenheit temperature +7C = 44.6F. I doubt if that will be enough to melt the little bit of ice and snow we have on the ground – mainly because it is packed and hard, but it will certainly melt some of it.
Time to get out the spring jackets 🙂
On Africam today, we have seen Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Maribou Stork, Woolly-necked Stork, Egyptian Goose, Nyala, Zebra, Impala, Wildebeest, Hadeda Ibis, Baboon, Kudu, Waterbuck, Warthog and Cape Turtle Doves. Click here to see all of today’s pictures.
