A pair of Seagulls gave Chester and I a bit of a show on this morning’s walk along the Red River. One found something dead in the river and a second one soon joined him. There was no fighting – the newcomer was simply there to get any leftovers by the looks of things. There was a bit of squawking, but just enough to get Chester’s attention. By the time we left, no other gulls had gathered.
I assume this was a fish, but can’t say for sure what they’ve found.
Today makes it 5 weeks since Chester’s last seizure. He did go for 5 weeks once before, but I’m really hopeful that they’ve got the right mix of meds for him. I will have to take him in for a blood test next weekend so they can check his levels then.
So far on Africam today, we have seen Lion, Elephant, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Warthog, Nyala, Impala, Oxpecker, Hornbill, Zebra, Helmeted Guinea Fowl, Hippo, Side Striped Jackals and Baboons.
