I love the logs in the Red River. You never know what might decide to get on one to make a bump. Usually it is ducks that I see and last year when the beaver was around quite a bit, he would sometimes be the bump.
Today it was a male Mallard Duck. 🙂
As the river is dropping, we have a new log making a run for the bump on a log spot. Its pretty small yet and doesn’t look very comfortable, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it. 🙂
Mr Bump on a Log. Maybe at the end of the year, I’ll gather up all my bump on a log contestants and have a vote to find out the favourites. 🙂
So far on Africam today, we have seen Salome (Cheetah) and her babies (daytime viewing only right now), Elephants, Bushbuck, Impala, Duiker, Waterbuck, Nyala, Egyptian Goose, Wildebeest, Woolly-necked Stork and Black Eagle and chick. Click here to see all the pictures from June 7.
