The post yesterday was supposed to contain a bit of information on Chester – not just a picture of him. I know everyone (well, maybe almost everyone) looks forward to Chester updates.
In a couple of day, it will officially be 3 months since his last seizure. He is happy and active and I’m thrilled that he is doing so well again. You have to learn every once in awhile not to take good health for granted – it can change very quickly.
Now that we’re having some decent weather, he is spending as much time as he can outside – running after shadows and sunbeams and eating bees and wasps. If my daughter or I are at home, you can find him out in the back yard. Chester is now a senior citizen (much like myself) and he does tire a bit now. On rare occasions, I look outside to see him lying down! Most of the time though, he is up and his tail is going.
I am keeping his walks fairly short (about 1/2 hour) at the vet’s suggestion – but sometimes we will go a little further if the day is nice and we have the time.
These are the other pictures that I took yesterday morning.
So far on Africam today we have seen Salome the Cheetah and her 3 cubs, the Black Eagles and chicks (still 2), Red-billed Hornbill, Elephants, Waterbuck, Nyala, Impala, Zebra, Lions, Side-striped Jackal and Bushbuck. Click here to see all the pictures from today.
