It’s a Crow

I have noticed a lot of crows in the neighbourhood this year.  I saw them mobbing a raven who dared to enter this area and I saw another mobbing not too long ago, but could not see what they were after.  There were dozens of crows and more kept flying in from all directions to join the crowd (or mob).  The raven I watched the one time had been grounded and had a hard time getting up in the air again, but he finally did.  The time I didn’t see the victim, they were in the next block and I could see dozens circling and so many more coming, it was amazing.  Both instances were very loud!

This morning when Chester and I walked along the Red River, I saw a few crows on one of the trees and stopped to take a couple of pictures of one of them.

He was very cooperative and turned to give me both sides.  🙂

  1. Lovely pictures of the crow, we have loads of them here on the farms, we call a group of crows a “murder of crows”
Best regards to you and Chester

    1. Thank you Blue. I have heard that it is a murder of crows, but I just call several birds a flock – no matter what they are – LOL.
All the best to you too. 🙂
