I haven’t written about my boy Chester for awhile, so I thought it was time I did.
He is doing great. He was fine while I was away and adapted well to my daughter’s routine. Her hours are different from my hours normally, but she adapted herself to make a routine due to Chester’s med requirements. His feedings and outings were at different times than when I am home, but they were on a routine.
Since I had a few days off before having to go back to work, it didn’t take long to get him back onto my time schedule.
Chester had one seizure a couple of weeks before I left for South Africa and I did worry about him having another one while I was gone, but there was no evidence that he did.
I went in the yard with him yesterday after our walk for a photo shoot. 🙂

You can see the season here with the leaves on the ground and the yellow leaves in the trees.

Watching the cams at Africam (especially Nkorho), I can start dreaming about a return trip. Where’s that lottery ticket?
Yesterday we had the privilege of seeing a pack of Wild Dogs at Elephant Plains on the camera. What a thrill! You can see the video here.
Gorgeous! 🙂
