A Flower

Whew – I’ve had a busy day already and it is just noon here.  🙂

I cleaned the leaves out of the eaves (or gutters) on the house – then I mowed over all the leaves on the ground to mulch them where they can stay without me having to rake them all up.  Unfortunately, I didn’t actually mulch them all because the battery on the mower quit just as I was about to tackle the boulevard.  Normally, I can do the whole yard and boulevard once and then do 1/2 again before it needs to be charged, but with all the leaves, I had to go over some areas more than once.

The battery is charging again now and hopefully we will have another nice weekend next week so I can finish it.

While cleaning the eaves, I saw that my Chrysanthemum was nicely flowering in the front yard.  I hardly ever go into the front except to do chores, so I hadn’t noticed it.   My Mountain Ash tree has lost all its leaves, but still has plenty of berries for the migrating birds to fill up on before leaving or for the Waxbills to make a visit during the winter.

I have a few more things to get done today, but by late afternoon, I’m sure you can find me on the Boma at Africam.  Drop by to say hi.
