What Happened to the Sun

We usually have a lot of sunny days and when we go for a stretch without seeing it, we really notice.  We did see it for a couple of hours on the 21st and a bit the 22nd of this month and will hopefully see it more today, but otherwise, it has been cloudy and rainy for much too long.

Today, I have memories from the 21st and 22nd.  🙂

Now, obviously, the 22nd wasn’t very long ago – but other than the sun showing a bit for the sunrise, we didn’t see much of it that day.  There was more sun on the 21st, but nowhere near enough to dry the leaves so I can finish mulching.  The rain all day yesterday didn’t help either.

I am hoping that all the rain now will settle things so I can close the windows tightly for the winter and the gates will get back to where they will close properly.  I love the shifting ground here.

Time to check in with Africam now to see what has been happening at my favourite waterholes.
