It is amazing how different the sunrises are from day to day. I’ve been walking too early the last couple of days, but I have pictures take October 29th and 30th to compare. Of course, the same sunrise changes dramatically in just a few minutes also.
I will also tell you some of the events in my life for the last few days.
If you have been following along with my ‘exciting’ life, you will remember that I had a new furnace installed in September. When it was inspected there were a couple of minor, but sloppy errors that the inspector found and the company had to come back to fix them. I still haven’t hear from the inspector to arrange for a re-inspection. It is possible he won’t bother since they were minor problems.
A couple of days ago, my daughter found a cord hanging behind a cabinet in the basement. It was a a black box similar to a power source for a printer or cordless phone. The black box was broken and the wires were hanging out of it. It was quite warm (as the box often is) and with the wires exposed we decided to unplug it since we were both leaving for work soon. After unplugging it, we had no internet connection, so at least we knew what it was. I phoned Shaw (my ISP) when I got home from work and they will be coming out tonight to see what it is and hopefully fix or replace the cord. We have no idea how long this has been in this condition since it was behind the cabinet, but I am thinking that it must have been the furnace guys. We know they were doing something in that area – the electric box is there and they had removed some of the items from on top of the cabinet. Of course there is no way I can say it was them for certain, but I’m not impressed.
I got the results from the blood tests done for the re-check on my cholesterol levels. I am happy to say that is now fine, but on the tests, it seems I now have a liver enzyme problem. Since that came out of the blue and since I seldom drink alcohol, he ordered a re-test on Tuesday. Hopefully it was just an error, and I have no idea what will be going on if it wasn’t an error. I think he’s pretty sure it is an error and he said that he would only contact me if there is a problem.
Time for Africam to take me away to another land, after Chester and I have our walk along the Red River.
