The only reason I don’t feed the outside birds in the winter is because Chester goes bonkers whenever he see birds outside. So, its always nice when I do get to see birds in the trees outside my window (as long as Chester doesn’t see them first).
Yesterday he was out in the back yard when I heard Chickadees in my front yard. I peaked out the window and saw 2 little Black-capped Chickadees in the little Mock Orange tree I have at my front step. I grabbed the camera in the hopes that one would stay still long enough for me to get a picture. After several snaps, I did manage to get one 1/2 decent picture as he landed on the railing by my steps.
Pictures taken through the windows are never great, but at least you can tell this is a Chickadee.

My neighbours do feed the little guys, so he may have hidden some food he picked up there around my steps and decided this was a good place to have a snack.
I’ve got to head for work soon, so its time to watch the wildlife in Africa by way of Africam before I have to leave. Have a great day!
