Breakfast

I eat breakfast every day, but Saturday it is eaten at the Red Top Restaurant.  They open at 8:00 am and I am usually seated at my reserved spot by 7:55 am.  🙂

I usually go with my friend Connie, but she had both her knees replaced a couple of weeks ago and has not been able to come the last few weeks.  The first week, she was in the hospital, so I just went there by myself.  There are a lot of other regulars, so I sat at another table.  The next week, I picked it up and took our meals to Connie’s home, where we ate together.  This week, she said not to bother because she would want it even more next week and would be going with me by then.  She is stubborn enough that I believe her.  🙂

So, this week I ate there on my own and then went to visit her for awhile before heading out on errands and then chores at home.

We have our routine and always have the same breakfast.  It is their combo, and it includes 3 meats (bacon, sausage, ham), 2 eggs, hash browns and toast.  With a cup of coffee, a $10.00 bill covers the meal and the tip for our regular waitress.

If I hadn’t just eaten, I would be getting hungry looking at this.  🙂

I took this picture with my phone and then had to figure out how to get it from my phone to my computer.  I can not find a card in the phone, but I’m sure it is there somewhere.  I finally emailed it to myself and then opened that on my computer.  The phone isn’t going to outsmart me – no matter what!  🙂

We are having some absolutely beautiful weather here now that the eastern parts of Canada and the U.S. are being hit with a blizzard.  It is -4C and the snow is melting and the sun is shining.

Enough about food – now it is time to open up the cams at Africam to check out what is happening at our waterholes.  See you there.
