As I mentioned yesterday, Chester had his annual vet appointment in the afternoon. He was a good boy, since he knows he gets treats there. 🙂
Everything looks fine, but we just have to wait until next week to get the results of his blood test. If the levels of the meds are still good, we will continue as usual, but if they have gone up, we might have to reduce the amounts he is taking. Chances are the levels should still be fine since they were quite low at the last blood test, but that was a year ago, so we just have to wait and see.
He didn’t have to have any shots, since the titer test from last year showed he would not need any – so we didn’t have to do that test either. Next year we will have to do it to see if he needs the rabies, but even if the results are good, he would need that shot if we are going to cross the border with him. I’ve never taken him across the border anyway – so that won’t be a problem.
He has been seizure free for a little over 10 months now and I simply don’t want to make any changes at all which includes not giving him any shots.
I took some pictures of him a couple of days ago when the sun was shining. Of course, it is now the weekend, so it is cool and cloudy with light showers off and on.
His tail is always wagging!
I’m glad I got a lot of yard work done yesterday with raking and bagging and then cutting the lawn. Today would have been flower planting, but it has to be a nice day for that – so maybe next weekend.
I guess I have more time to watch Africam today. 🙂
