Moving the Acorns

On Friday, I looked out my window and saw the little Red Squirrel moving his acorns from his fallen nest at the bottom of my Oak Tree into the flower bed belonging to my neighbours.  I watched him scamper back and forth a few times and then decided to get a video.

It is not the best quality video, since it is taken through a window and the squirrel goes from shade to sun to shade and back again – but its kind of cute.  For some reason the first trip is in slow motion.  I have no idea how or why, but it is also kind of cute.  He was still going strong for some time after I stopped the video.

I realized I didn’t have any still pictures of the little guy, so yesterday when he was at it again, I snapped a few.

  1. ‘Gotta to stop to eat’ reminds me of when we humans go to pick strawberries, blackberries and we too just have to have to have a taste. Lovely photos
