Yesterday, I drove over to Oak Hammock Marsh to see the Canada Geese. I did see some geese, but the Great Egret on the water’s edge of their lake was what I concentrated on. One Canada Goose did sneak into a couple of pictures.

Such a beautiful bird and what a nice surprise to find.
All those white dots in the water are feathers from the thousands of geese that spend the night and much of the day in the water.
The rain is coming down this morning to test out my new eaves trough in front of the house. I hope it doesn’t last too long though, since I have some yard work planned for the afternoon. The forecast says all morning and afternoon – but hopefully this will be one of the many times it is wrong. It is 10C right now and the high is upon predicted to be 13C.
This might end up being an Africam day. 🙂
Love all the beautiful greens, yellows and oranges behind the white bird. Thanks for sharing these.
