The road construction appears to have ended, but I don’t know if it is finished or not. They have removed the barricades and left the scene, so I assume this is how they are leaving the site. The street has been repaired and looks fine, but the riverbank is another story.
A section of the railing along the path has been left with these lovely yellow caution strips. You also get a bit of Chester with his nose to the ground and the sunrise in this picture.
What was a natural riverbank with weeds and grasses growing that attracted lots of birds is now this. Will things grow back?
Upon closer look, we see it is not sand covering the bank – but material of some kind. Below a closer look at it. Will anything grow on this?
Then there is this random pile of rocks. I have no idea why they have left this or the material over the bank. I wonder if I can find someone in the city who will tell me what is happening? If so, maybe they can tell me more about the mystery equipment. 🙂
