Obviously not spring yet – but one day it will be here.
I always laugh at the groundhog’s prediction as to an early spring or it still being 6 weeks away from February 2nd. Six weeks from February 2nd would be a very early spring here!
We have now gone over a week without any significant snowfall – so the piles of snow have settled down a bit in preparation for the rest of the winter (and to make room for more snow I’m sure).
I have some snow pictures for you, taken just moments ago.
As you can see, it is a nice sunny day and the temperature isn’t bad at a pleasant -17C with a windchill (or ‘feels like’) temperature of -23C (1.4F & -9.4F).
Chester and I had a nice walk this morning and enjoyed the fresh air since it wasn’t too frigid.
I worked a bit more on my back parking spot to level off that hill into the space by giving it a more gentle slope. I didn’t take any pictures of that, since it still isn’t a pleasant sight. When spring actually comes, that parking area will be impassable with all the snow piled up on it, so we will be parking our cars on the street for a few weeks whenever that happens.
