Believe it or not – we are still covered by snow and ice here.
The Red River is rising – but although the shoreline is usually flowing water by this time, it is still frozen solid. Chester and I stopped long enough for a few quick pictures this morning.


The red post out on the ice above was on solid ground just a week ago.



The exciting news (if we can believe it) is that the temperature is supposed to get to 0C by this afternoon, to 2C by tomorrow afternoon, 8C Saturday, 10C Sunday and 14C Monday. I’m not holding my breath, but would sure welcome some plus 2 digit numbers.
Great pictures, Mavis, but they give me the shivers. We got a little snow today!! A week ago it was 70F. and now snow!!
