Yesterday I showed you the red pole in the water that had been well up onto dry land not long before. Well, this morning the red pole is close to being under the water/ice and I expect that by tomorrow I won’t be able to find it at all.
The ice is still shifting as the water is rising, but no melting over the last few days because of the temperatures. Today it is supposed to get above 0C slightly and then a bit more each day for the next several days – finally.
I think the neighbourhood birds must have heard the forecast because Chester and I heard a lot of birds singing as we walked this morning. 🙂
