I woke up to a cloudy morning with the rain drizzling down. I went for a walk around the hotel to get some fresh air and a bit of exercise. I just pretended I had Chester walking with me. Chester meanwhile was safe at home with my daughter looking after him.

I love the Children’s Museum in Winnipeg and when I found out that Hazel and Olivia had never been to the one here, I suggested that we spend some time exploring what they had. Since dinosaurs were featured, Olivia was excited about going to see them. I know we didn’t see everything – but we sure covered a lot of the areas there. Olivia was exhausted by the time we left – but she sure had a lot of fun. It was hard to get her to stop moving long enough to snap a few pics and I have quite a few blurs – but it was great seeing her have so much fun. I’m pretty sure that they will be back. I won’t mention the drive to get there 😉 but I’m pretty sure Hazel with find a shorter route when they return.

There were lots of bubble making toys available, but this lady knew how to blow a bubble out of her hand and she could pass it over to the children.
We spent about 3 hours at the Children’s Museum. Then we stopped at Taco Time for a quick meal and spent the evening relaxing at Hazel’s place. We talked and just hung out as we continued to get to know each other a little more. Over the years we have obviously been able to get to know each other very well – but there is nothing like an in person relationship. 🙂
LOL Yes, we sure did take the scenic route didn’t we!! But what great team work!! LOL

Thats right Hazel – even you saw parts of the city that you’d never seen before and I sure did too. 🙂
