Chester and I saw lots of Canada Geese on the Red River while on our walk today. I don’t know if these are babies all grown up already or if these were non breeding birds. It seems a little early for the babies to be all grown – but it is also strange for a flock of adult at this time of year. I took a few pictures. 🙂

Sun isn’t shining yet but it’s not raining.
We have some Canada geese in this area too (Virginia), who have made a small pond behind the Outback restaurant their permanent residence. I guess they decided to stay here because of the good leftover food treats? A lot of ducks live in the same area, for the same reason. 😉
All of them can be rather loud and opinionated when they don’t get their way, that’s for sure.
I went down there one day to take pictures of both ducks and geese, and they gave me a bad time because I didn’t bring any “snacks” with me. So…Instead of writing a nice little story about them all, I ended up writing a blog called “Duck Quack Reprimand.”

Luckily, no one feeds them in the area where we walk so I don’t have to worry about those kinds of reprimands. 🙂 People food isn’t good for them anyway.
