Yesterday, I thought the snow had missed us since only a tiny bit landed during the day and other places were getting inches of the stuff. I obviously spoke too soon though because more started falling during the evening and over night. It still isn’t enough to bother shoveling, but it is covering the ground.

As usual, Chester is wondering what the delay is while I take pictures.

I did not even know there was ice in the water – you can’t see it from a distance at all and even looking at it now, the only way to see where the ice ends and water begins are the little ripples in the water between the swimming goose and the one walking on the ice.

It was nice to see the sun this morning but it looks like the temperature will be remaining below 0C for some time now.

Time to wrap up and start snow shoveling. Hope it’s not as bad as last year. here we have had heavy rain, thunder storms and it’s mild for the time of year.

Thanks Mary – I sure hope it is not as bad as last year too. Not looking forward to shoveling at all, but I have arranged for someone to come over to look after the heavy snows for me. Hope it stays mild for you.
