It is still winter. The nicest winter we have had in ages has now turned into cold and wind and snow. On the bright sunny days, like it is today, the temperatures drop. Right now it is -22C with a windchill that feels like -29C. Tonight it is supposed to drop to -32C with a windchill that feels like -43C. Brrrr
Chester and I are still walking everyday, but the walks have been a bit shorter on the really cold days and when the wind is nasty, we have been missing our afternoon walks. Usually there is very little wind early in the morning.
I can always count on Chester to head out into the yard for a few pictures, so I have something to post once in awhile here and he was willing today to humour me with some. He is such a good boy!

In South Africa right now, the temperatures are mid 20’s C (only because it is evening and has cooled off now). What am I doing in Winnipeg?
Hugs and nose rubs to Chester. he looks very wise in your last photo. Here in the U.K. people do not know how lucky they are to have ‘warm’ winters compared to 0 degrees then panic when it snows a little!

Thanks Mary. Chester sends big sloppy kisses to you and Benji. This has been the most unusual winter I can remember. I don’t know if it hit the overnight temperatures, but right now it is -29C with a windchill of -38C and tomorrow they are forecasting a balmy high of -4C, which will be a welcome relief.
