Each day now we should be seeing a little more progress towards spring! Of course we will have more snow yet – it is only March – but it won’t last long now. 🙂
I have more pictures of the Red River taken today, and you can see the puddles forming on top of the ice are larger than they were yesterday.

During the winter, I kept the front sidewalk clear of ice and snow so I would get mail delivered. Canada Post does not deliver mail if there is snow and ice, a dog problem or a step that is too high. The step too high reference is from an incident here a couple of years ago. You can read it here if you are interested. Anyway, my back sidewalk had turned to ice the last couple of days as the snow melted and froze – so I chopped it clear today.

The sidewalk looked too empty above, so I sent Chester down to the end and then called him back for more pictures.

Below is a picture I took of my boy inside the house a couple of days ago and I kind of like it. 🙂

last photo is awesome. You should print it out ,frame it and hang on the wall or in photo frame to stand somewhere. I love all your other photos toaken of yousnow and ice going.

Thanks Mary. I think printing that picture is a good idea. It wasn’t cropped at all – just re-sized for posting here, so I still have the full size one to print out.
