At least once every weekend, I try to get to one of my walking places. Yesterday the Zoo was the attraction because the new baby Snow Leopards are now out on display and I wanted to see them. 🙂
Unfortunately, this wasn’t my day to see them. Although I found 3 sleeping adult Snow Leopards, there were no cubs to be found. I went by there twice and no luck either time.
I was able to see sleeping Lions and Tigers and a lazy Polar Bear, along with several other critters though. I have been to the zoo often enough lately that I don’t take pictures of every single critter I see any more, but I do usually try for most of the big cats, the bears, any babies and anything different from what I often get.
They are still moving critters around at the zoo to do some upgrading of the current homes. Although I miss the Zebras, I do understand that it is better for the critters to live where the climate suits them and our snow and extreme cold is not natural for Zebras. Most of the animals living there now come from similar climates.
Even though I didn’t take pictures of all the critters there, I still have quite a few to show you.
