English Garden and Leo Mol Sculpture Garden – Assiniboine Park

Today I had – or I mean my car had – an appointment for some routine service and another recall.  I’ve never had a car that had recalls until this Cobalt – this is the 4th I think.  Normally, I take the shuttle home from there, but today I decided to take the shuttle to Assinibone Park.  I have been to the zoo there several times this year, but haven’t been to the gardens for awhile.

The English Garden and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden are beside the duck pond and the Park Cafe, which is inside the Qualico Family Centre at Assiniboine Park.  The famous Boy with the Boot greets everyone who enters.  You can wander along paths and around each bend, you will find something of interest.  I took a few pictures.  🙂

This is the sculpture where the above birds were finding food that someone had obviously put out for them to enjoy.  🙂

There are a lot more sculptures than what I took pictures of.  You probably noted that most of them are critters of some kind – but I took a couple of others, just to be fair.
