Continuing with more of the critters from yesterday’s trip to Fort Whyte Alive, I’ve got pictures of Buffalo, Canada Geese and a Mallard Duck to show you.
While I was standing and talking to the people who had the deer following them yesterday, we saw a large flock of Canada Geese flying over us. I think he got pictures of them flying, but I didn’t. I did manage to find them a little later when they had landed on the ice on one of the lakes.
I guess they decided to stay for the weekend before heading south.

Along another section of the lake I saw one lone Mallard Duck who found some open water to swim on.

Near the end of my walk, I got to the Buffalo enclosure and took a few pictures of the resident herd.
