After Chester’s injury to his leg, we stopped going on our walks for awhile following orders from the veterinarian. Then we started on some short walks – just around the block. Finally last week we doubled that to a 2 block walk and the 2nd block got us to the Red River again. Of course on our ‘before work walks’, it is much too dark to even consider taking pictures – but today we delayed the walk until the sun was shining and I took my camera along with us. 🙂
It is always amazing how 2 pictures taken at the same time & place, but looking opposite directions can have such different lighting – but the placement of the sun is what is causing the difference in these 2 pictures.
We have hardly any snow as you can see here and although the Red River is frozen, I don’t think it is even slightly safe to walk on yet. There are open spots of water in several places. It may get warm enough the next few days to melt the snow entirely. 🙂
Maybe we will double our walks again next week.
