I finally decided to use up the rest of the can of pumpkin and make myself a pumpkin pie yesterday. I took the easy way and used a pre-made graham wafer crust instead of making a pie crust, and followed the recipe on the evaporated milk can.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually made a pumpkin pie before – they are so inexpensive and available at the grocery store. But, I have to admit that made and eaten fresh is better – much better.
Who knows – maybe one day I’ll become domesticated! 🙂
