OK – it finally looks like I have survived the cold of the century. For the last 3 weeks I have been practically down and out with the nastiest cold I have ever had. I continued to work – since I need a paycheque to survive, but had a constant supply of Tylenol and/or Advil Cold medications to take along with throat lozenges and bottles of water and tea to keep hydrated.
It is not quite gone yet, but I am now feeling human again and think I should survive. 🙂
My yard is desperately in need of a huge spring cleanup, but I am not going to rush this and possibly delay getting myself back to normal (whatever that is).
I have taken a few pictures of my yard to share with you along with a pair of Mallard Ducks taken during my walk with Chester this morning. Poor Chester has put up with shortened walks the last few weeks, but we had a good walk along the Red River this morning.

Nice to hear you are on the mend. Lovely photos. I love to see the fresh green shoots emerge from the earth. x x
