I’m glad I planted quite a few perennials over the years that bloom in the spring and early summer, so I can enjoy them this spring. I have decided not to plant any annual flowers this year, since they normally look their best in the late summer and autumn and I won’t be living here then.
I took a few pictures on May 18th and again today on the 20th and there is quite a difference in some of them in just 2 days. Chester managed to squeeze into a picture or 2 (as usual) also.

Unfortunately, I only covered my Rose Bush with leaves last fall and one (or more) of the bunnies decided to prune it for me. I’m glad to see that it survived the winter.

I haven’t done much packing yet, but did sell a few things to get them out of the house before it went up for sale. I have lots more to get rid of since 33 years in a house (even a small house) accumulates much more than what can fit into an apartment. I picked up some boxes up yesterday, so might put a few things into them that I won’t be needing.
I get possession of the apartment on June 1st and will take some measurements to see what will fit and where it will fit before I start moving anything there. I do have the room measurements, but don’t know where the plugs are, or the hookups for internet, or the distance between two windows or the windows and the walls, or the height of the windows.
Oh – can’t forget my Chester pics for the day. 🙂
