On the same day that I went to Fort Whyte Alive and saw the adorable fawns, I also went to the Conservatory at Assiniboine Park. I still had time to kill before the volunteer event at the zoo there.
The Conservatory is such a nice place to spend some time – the air is fresh, the flowers and plants are beautiful and of course, there are the Turtles and Fish to watch too.

Then on the way over to the zoo entrance, I heard the train whistle, so stopped to get a couple of pictures of it as it went by. 🙂
