Photo Shoot with St. Peanut

I haven’t featured St. Peanut here in ages, since I don’t feed the birds in the summer when natural food is abundant.

My little feeder has been out for a couple of weeks now and I’ve got several Chickadees visiting so I sat at the window for just a few minutes and ended up with several photos.  Since I can’t tell them apart, they are all  St. Peanut.  🙂

There are quite a few pictures here, so I’ve put them all together, but if you want to see them better, you can click on one and scroll through them.

Most of the above pictures were taken in just a few minutes when there were about 5 or 6 (or more) coming & going.  One would fly off to eat his seed and another would land to get one.

None of them were bothered by me sitting right at the window just inches from them with only the window separating me from them.  I could have touched them without the window being there – they were so close.  In a couple of the pictures, you can see one staring right at me – just for a second, before he grabbed a seed and flew away.
