A Trip to Gibsons – Sunshine Coast

The Seniors’ Resource Society in Chilliwack has a great variety of trips for local seniors to take at a reasonable cost. I have mentioned some of the trips before, but really have to thank the resource society for making these arrangements for us to enjoy. Since I am fairly new to the area, I am really enjoying the opportunity to visit places that I may have heard of, but never visited and Gibson’s Landing is one that I heard of, but had never been to. The reason I had heard of it was because there had been a Canadian television program “The Beachcombers” that was televised for several years in Canada. Molly’s Reach was a fictional restaurant where everyone gathered in Gibson’s Landing.

When we arrived in town, we all headed off to wherever we wanted to go. Of course, I headed out onto the dock and then walked along the path that went in both directions from the dock. I had my trusty camera with me and snapped quite a few photos.

It was a beautiful day and we couldn’t have had it any better.

I still have many more photos – but my pc is fighting me all the way this morning. So, I will finish here for today and hopefully can continue tomorrow.
