Winnipeg to Vancouver – Day 7, part 1

Unfortunately, our boat ride out to look for whales & other wildlife was cancelled again today and I have no more days left to go on it.

Luckily, my daughter Angie had a backup plan though and we headed for the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

It was cloudy and a bit chilly, but it was a fascinating place to wander around – with so much to look at. It was also quite crowded and a lot of people are on the bridges and walkways at the same time.

The bridge – before we got on it and the water underneath it.

They are setting up a light display and it looks great during the day, so I’m sure it will be amazing after dark. Photos don’t do justice to it.

These 3 birds were on display with their handlers.

After the Nature’s Edge walk above, we headed up for the Tree Top Walk.

We spent about 3 hours there, but still had time for another adventure – so – to be continued. 🙂
