Fort Whyte Alive re-opened last week as soon as they were able to and I headed there for a walk yesterday. COVID-19 restrictions had closed the facility in mid March.
While they were closed, they built a new bridge so that after going through the reception building, we walked across a lake instead of following a path to the trails. This bridge took us over to the paths though.

Then I was witness to a Canada Goose fight. There were 3 birds in the fight, so 2 would have been a pair (probably mating) and one lone Canada Goose.
I zoomed in on the nest to see if there were any eggs, but can’t say for sure.

I was a very windy day, but the temperature was fine and it is nice to get some fresh air in the city. I still have my membership there and they extended the expiry date to cover the time they were shut down. Many businesses here have done the same thing.
