The Prairie Dog town at Fort Whyte Alive is one area you can visit without paying admission fee. These guys live just outside the entrance. Some Canada Geese and Goslings were active at Fort Whyte Alive the other day, so I got some pictures of them. Everything is so peaceful, so you can almost forget you are in the city while walking here.

Yesterday, I showed you the Pelicans at Fort Whyte Alive and today it is time for some ducks. It was a beautiful morning for a stroll and most of the critters were fairly co-operative. More to come tomorrow.

Trips to Fort Whyte Alive are always nice. It is on the outskirts of Winnipeg, but you feel immersed right in nature.
