Riding Mountain National Park in Early Fall – day 1, part 4

After exiting the Bison enclosure, I headed to the Honeycomb Bed & Breakfast to get checked in.  I had a tour of the place, got the pictures all loaded onto my laptop to clear the camera card and relaxed a bit before heading back out.

First stop was the Wishing Well, and the sprinklers had been turned off to allow me to wander around without getting wet.

I turned in a Grayling Lake and took the next 2 pictures from the dock, before heading over to Moon Lake, where I took a picture from the dock and a few pictures of the baby swallows in the cook shack.  Hope they are ready to fly away by now.

Next stop was the Boreal Trail – so I took a walk.

Then I drove back to #19 and took a drive out there, planning to end up at Lake Katherine for sunset photos.

With all the trees here the sun disappeared early.  I drove south a bit and saw more colours from the Wishing Well road, so I stopped for more sunset pictures.

I saw some White-tail Deer on the way back to the B&B, but there wasn’t enough light for any decent pictures.  We finally finished day 1 and tomorrow will start on day 2
