Riding Mountain National Park in Early Fall – day 1, part 3

There is only 1 stream that we cross over on the road to the Bison Enclosure, and I always have to stop for a picture – just one side and I’ll get the other side on the way out.

The Bison weren’t hiding at all this trip in, and were actually quite close to the road, so I managed a few pictures of them.  I am not posting all the pictures, but you can get an idea of the number I actually took, since these are less than 1/2.   🙂

This little guy was so hungry, he almost lifted his Mom up when he banged his head up to drink.

Then it was time to head to the Honeycomb Bed & Breakfast to get checked in. Shortly after leaving the enclosure I found this Red-tail Hawk who posed for more than one picture.

And we will end with the other side of the stream.

Still more to come in tomorrow’s blog.
