Right after the Federal Government here announced that Riding Mountain National Park was opening – the Elkhorn Resort put their rooms on sale. All rooms for the same price – so I quickly picked a deluxe suite and booked 3 nights.
I had packed my suitcase the night before I was leaving an had everything ready to go (I thought). In the morning I grabbed what was ready and headed out the door.
About an hour later, I realized I had forgotten my camera. My phone takes decent photos – but I need the camera for my best and/or long distance shots, so I made a u-turn and headed back home. I just turned my 3 hour trip into a 5 hour trip, but I’m here. 🙂
The view is supposed to be the stables, but can’t see the horses for the trees.
Of course, I was out looking for critters and views as soon as I got there.

Hopefully I get a few more photos over the next couple of days.
What a day! Your room looks fabulous and pictures of critters are amazing! Have fun.
