Assiniboine Park – part 2

After leaving the Gardens in Assiniboine Park, I headed over to visit the zoo. Some of the critters were very cooperative in providing a few photos for me to show you.

  • Panda, the Takin
  • Polar Bear
  • Stone Sheep
  • White-handed Gibbons family
  • Peacock
  • Monk Parakeet (Quaker)
  • Red-winged Parrot
  • Toucan
  • Weaver
  • Goeldi Monkey
  • Ocelot with his eyes open. (He is nocturnal)
  • So, I zoomed in on his gorgeous face
  • Painted Lady Butterfly

Now, it was time to get out of the sun & heat, and to head for home.
