Looking for Bald Eagles

Now that I know the location of a Bald Eagle nest, I decided to return for better photos. I don’t think I mentioned in the last post that the reason I didn’t zoom in more was because the batteries were pretty much exhausted and the camera would shut down if the zoom was used. It would shut down even without the zoom being used, but I might get a couple more photos. After 5 to 10 minutes, I would be able to take a couple more shots. So – I’ve recharged the batteries and returned.

It was a beautiful morning for a walk. The nasty winds from the last few days have died down and the temperature is around +10C.

These 2 birds did not move around much, so although the photos were taken from different places and at different times, they are all quite similar.

Of course, I took several other photos of other birds and views while I was there, but I will put them in my next post so I don’t make this too long.

When the leaves in the trees open it will be more difficult to get decent shots of these 2, but I’ll be back again soon.
