Last Stop on the Way Home

After leaving the Captain Kennedy House & Gardens, I continued along River Road until I got to the highway that turns into Main Street as we head back to Winnipeg. Right on Main Street is Kildonan Park, so I had to turn into there. 😉 First stop (well the only stop, since I walked to the other locations in the park) was the pond/stream at the Witche’s Hut.

It was sad seeing the gardens being cleared out when the weather is so beautiful. But – I do understand that the gardening staff is just hired for a specific time and have probably already been laid off – so the plants had to go.
