I usually volunteer at the Assiniboine Park Zoo about 3 time per week – but when volunteering, I can’t wander as I like and take photos – so it is nice to go on days when I can wander where I want.
It is amazing how many people know who I am even when I am not wearing my zoo uniform or name tag and I have my face covered with a mask, . I can’t seem to go unnoticed – LOL.
The last day I volunteered one of my locations was outside the Tundra Grill. I have hardly ever eaten there and today I was planning on lunch by the window looking out into the Polar Bear acres.
I saw these 2 (above) on my way to the Tundra Grill.
The rest of the bear photos are the ones I took while eating lunch.
A couple of Steller’s Sea Eagle photos
White-handed Gibbon Maya with her new baby – just visible under Maya’s head.
Zaya, the Bactrian Camel – she is 1 year old and arrived recently
A couple of Pronghorn Antelopes just taking it easy
Two Pythons! Can you tell where one ends and the other starts? Below, I will show 2 heads.
The snakes and the birds (below) are found in Toucan Ridge.
