I mentioned in my last post that I had taken more photos of Daisy. For some reason, I had’t been able to transfer the photos to my pc and I don’t have Word Press on my phone. My fingers are too big to post anything to Word Press from my phone anyway. So – I finally decided to just send my photos to my email and now they are on my pc.

Daisy keeps her eyes on me – especially when I have my camera or phone pointed at her.
She thinks it is possible that I might have food too – maybe a treat!
She really loves this bed. She has 2 more beds, so she has a good selection to choose from.
Obviously not a Daisy photo, but I was amazed at how these houses seemed to be one on top of the other. We saw this on one of our walks. I guess you really need good brakes on your car for traveling up & down from the top couple of houses.

I put these 2 photos together to show Daisy’s change in attitude as we walked. The photo on the right is her “come on – lets keep moving look. Notice the difference in the tails. The 2nd photo was when she smelled something and was not happy.
I had been told that a bear had been sighted in the woods here shortly before we were heading in. Unless it is a female with cubs, I normally have no fear as the bears usually are smart enough to leave when a human is nearby. Daisy had been walking along with her tail up and I believe this is right when she smelled the bear – her next look at me said “I’m not going any further”, but I didn’t get a photo of that look. I never go against a dog’s instinct so we turned around and headed back out immediately.
Since Daisy made her decision to not go any further, I would have turned back anyway even if I hadn’t been told about the bear in the area.
