Back to Bird’s Hill Provincial Park – part 3

It was a short drive from the beach parking lot to the next parking lot, so I was soon walking along the Cedar Bog trail. The snow was pretty much gone, so other than some muddy spots – walking was good. 🙂

I could hear Chickadees, but they were not showing themselves to me – especially not for photos.

  • It was such a beautiful day for walking.
  • Fox Sparrow up in a tree, but nicely framed by the twigs.
  • Dark-eyed Juncos on the search for something to eat
  • A couple more views of a Fox Sparrow
  • You can see the middle part of the path is somewhat muddy, but it is dry along the sides.
  • The snow came across the path here, but it was easy to walk around it.
  • In the open area here, the path was nice & dry
  • I love seeing the beautiful blue sky and now waiting for some new leaves to add green to this view
  • I found some green 🙂
I took the short-cut here today, since I’d already walked quite a bit at my other 2 stops. Next time I’ll do this whole trail first and then decide where to go next. It is almost time to try out a new trail.

I believe that wood ticks are out now though.
